It requires all Americans to realize that your dreams do not have to come at the expense of my dreams; that investing in the health, education and welfare of black and brown and white children will ultimately help all of America prosper.

Jan, This vision board was excellent. The pictures were very appropriate and I especially like the last image "you are not alone." I think that this should be the messgae a student gets in every classroom. Kayla

WOW! Just looked at this vision board on my iMac instead of my laptop and all the alignments are off compared to how it lines up on my Macbook. Weird. Jan

Jan, Your vision board is amazing! Thanks so much!! I love the quote by Gloria Steinem. Indeed, hope is one of those emotions that gives you the energy to do things you never thought possible. The quote by Alice Walker is very powerful--fearing another human being because of who they are makes that person feel less than human. The picture of the women playing wheelchair basketball in the Olympics reminds me of the movie Murderball--it's about the sport of wheelchair rugby. --Kristina
I am reading this on my iMac, and it lines up well!
